Since its founding in 1920, the Art Directors Club of New York, widely known as ADC, has played a leading role in the global realm of advertising. Every year ADC organizes an ongoing series of exhibitions of works receiving its annual awards, events that consistently garner eager interest and attention from members of design and advertising communities in countries across the globe.
Creation Gallery G8 will highlight works from ADC’s 87th exhibition: works created and released during 2007. The 2007 competition attracted more than 10,000 entries from all across the United States and around the world, with 21 works ultimately selected to win Gold Awards. Two Gold Awards were bestowed on Japanese entries: Sony’s “Live Color Wall Project” in the Interactive category, and packaging of “Yaoki” shochu in the Design category.
Works gleaned from around the world were exhibited at ADC’s gallery in New York. With ADC’s kind cooperation, the 2007 award-winning works will be introduced at Creation Gallery G8 starting February 9.
