The gallery is pleased to host the 18th exhibition of works by members of the Tokyo Illustrators Society (TIS). For this year’s exhibition TIS members were asked to create illustrations of their favorite saying or motto. Works by 165 will be on display. Some portray wise sayings by honored men of old, others illustrate pithy proverbs, and yet others depict simple phrases that set one’s mind at ease. As always, the works on show will be available for purchase. We hope to see many visitors take advantage of this once-a-year opportunity to see, and perhaps own, works by some of Japan’s leading illustrators.
