TORAFU ARCHITECTS

TORAFU ARCHITECTS was founded by Koichi Suzuno and Shinya Kamuro in 2004. Working from architectural concepts, they are involved in a remarkably broad range of artistic endeavors: ranging from architectural design, shop interior design and exhibition layout to product design, space installations and participation in movie production. Their major works include “TEMPLATE IN CLASKA,” “NIKE 1LOVE,” “House in Kohoku,” “airvase” and “Gulliver Table.” Their “Light Loom” (Canon Milano Salone 2011) won the Grand Prize of the Elita Design Awards. Their publications (all with Japanese and English text) include airvase book (2011), TORAFU ARCHITECTS 2004-2011: Idea + Process (2011) and TORAFU’s Small City Planning (2012).
